About Michele

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon and I specialize with individuals with chronic pain or chronic degenerative illness. I have a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, and am a Board Certified National Certified Counselor.

I have a Certificate in Addiction Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University and have taken additional classes in chronic pain, geriatric medicine, Parkinson's and Integrated Behavioral Health for Pediatric Populations. I participate in the University of New Mexico School of Medicine Resiliency workshops. 

I am Certified in Integrative Medicine for Behavior Health, so I can offer nutritional counseling. I  was on the steering committee for the Building Bridges between Behavioral Health & Primary Care Physicians in 2019 and am currently on the Advancing Integrative Care Metric Advisory Committee with the Oregon Health Council and PacificSource, where we are currently evaluating Unite Us as a platform for sending and tracking referrals, and improving social health statewide.   

I have memberships in the American Mental Health Counselors Association, the Pulmonary Hypertension Association Professional Network and the Adult Congenital Heart Association Professional Association.
