About Michele

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with approximately 25 years of experience supporting individuals and families through personal, relational, and life-changing challenges. My areas of particular focus include working with individuals living with chronic pain, degenerative or complex medical conditions, ADHD, and the significant emotional and psychological adjustments that can accompany changes in health and functioning.

My role is collaborative. I do not see myself as having all the answers for a client. Rather, I join with clients in exploring the roots of their difficulties, identifying strengths and resources, developing practical strategies, and finding opportunities for movement and healing. My goal is to help clients develop greater self-awareness, self-trust, emotional resilience, and the ability to make choices that are consistent with who they are and what matters most to them.

For individuals living with chronic or degenerative conditions, counseling may involve grieving previous expectations, adapting to a new reality, developing a sustainable “new normal,” and discovering ways to experience purpose, connection, joy, and meaning despite significant life changes.

I belong to the American Mental Health Counselors Associaiton, Pulmonary Hypertension Association Professional Network,
Attendtion Deficit Disorder Association, Adult Congenital Heart Association, Turner Syndrome Society of the United States and the Ehlers Danlos Society.
